SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – Dallas

The San Antonio Office is looking for a Sr. Structural Lead. The primary duties of the Senior Structural Engineer include being viewed as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects and to resolve problems of greater scope and complexity. Will manage a large variety of unique, complex and challenging structural projects.

May plan and develop projects or design activities which have significant impact on major company programs. Will be managing a staff of structural engineers. Although this position may serve as project manager on larger projects, project management is not sole focus of position.

Requirements Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering Structural emphasis preferred.
PE required.
10+ years structural engineering experience as it relates to building design.
Computer knowledge Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software.
Experience in design calculations and layouts. Ability to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and wood.
Requires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis.
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
