Description
Our Dallas office is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to serve on a variety of healthcare, justice, science & technology, and community architecture projects. Responsible for development of structural concepts, code analysis, cross discipline coordination, design reviews, construction document and specification development, and construction administration.
Develop new and maintain existing client relationships. Support proposal development. Provide structural design support to other offices.
Requirements BS/MS in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Structural Engineering.
PE/SE.
10+ years on building projects, specifically healthcare, justice/civic, S&T or community architecture.
Software: MS Office, Specialty structural design software.
Requires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis.
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm. Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.
