Position: Sales Engineer
Relocation Assistance Provided
Salary Range: $50k to $70K plus annual bonus plus car allowance
SCOPE: Grow sales and improve business relationships in Southern US and Mexico. Manage line trials, inventory, start-ups and full customer service needs. Also, new account development ( sales).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Sales Engineer:
1. Is responsible for achieving goals set by Management.
2. Assists in educating safe and proper use of products in the field.
3. Is responsible for increasing product awareness throughout region and/or market.
4. Maintains working relationships between company and customers.
5. Is responsible for conducting field-testing of products and systems.
6. Assists other sales personnel with sales and technical support.TT
7. Is responsible for communicating general news and information back to company.
8. Serves as a liaison between laboratory and customers requests for new products
9. Completes all other tasks, assignments, or functions, as assigned and/or required.
10. Develop new accounts.
 
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Sales Engineer / Technical Service
Education: Requires a college degree or equivalent work experience in the paint industry.
Unique Skills: Must have good bi-lingual speaking and writing skills in English and Spanish. Prior paint experience preferred but not required.
Relocation: Individual must live in the Southwestern United States or be able to relocate. Company will pay for relocation if necessary.
Travel: Up to 50%
Bottom Line
1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. Bilingual English and Spanish.
3. Solid business to business sales experience.
4. Sales experience in Paint is a plus but could be anything where the sale is to solid sizable businesses (Automotive, Steel, Chemical and many more would work - selling to OEMs would be a good fit).
