Position: Onshore Drilling Engineer
Our growing Dallas client, an oil and gas company, is looking to hire an onshore drilling engineer as a direct hire. You will enjoy a top base pay, sign-on-bonus, stock options, annual bonus, and superior 401K. You will report directly to the Drilling Manager with a high impact role.
Description:
Primary duties will be in the Dallas office working the Arklatex area with other areas possible as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering (Petroleum Preferred).
10 years drilling experience with solid experience in horizontal and HTHP drilling with an operating company.
Responsibilities:
Drilling – well design from conception to P&A
Location selection, surveying & permits
Pore pressure prediction, determination of casing points
Directional programs with emphasis on horizontal
AFE and cost preparation
Detailed procedures – cement program, bit records, mud recaps, and well control
