Position: HRIS Specialist - HR Assistant - ADP
Our North Dallas client is looking to bring in a direct hire HRIS Specialist to tackle projects within their ADP system and HR department. This fast growing company is seeking a driven individual that meets the following goals and qualifications:
Primary Objective: Maintains and updates human resource information systems (HRIS) in support of HR Administration and projects. Compiles personnel information and keys payroll and benefit data into HRIS (ADP) system in a timely manner. Inputs time into ezLabor timekeeping system.
Main Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Inputs data for new hires, terminations, transfers, status changes, salary changes, merit increases, address changes and other information as needed.
Inputs benefit data into HRIS system. Including, but not limited to, new enrollments, terminations of coverage, and changes to dependent data.
Processes personnel action forms and assures proper approvals.
Provides support to the field regarding input into the HRIS and timekeeping systems.
Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee changes in a timely manner.
Answer telephone inquiries and responds to employee questions/concerns in a timely manner.
Coordinates ezLabor timekeeping system by entering missing time for the field, responding to inquiries, confirming time entered prior to payroll running and entering time for employees as needed.
Processes all verbal and written employment verification requests.
Generates, maintains and distributes various HRIS reports as needed.
Trains and serves as backup for processing payroll.
Performs other related duties and helps with special projects as required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years data entry experience. Experience in HR and/or payroll strongly desired. ADP experience preferred.
Competencies: Excellent customer service skills. Extremely accurate data entry skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent telephone and oral communication skills. Great organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Word and Excel. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and be a team player.
