| Currently we have volunteer positions available with our Families First program. This is a Dallas District Court mandated program for parents who are divorcing. Our volunteers are trained to work with children whose parents are attending the seminar one Saturday a month for four hours. You can visit our website, www.excap.org, for more information on the program. This is a great opportunity to work with children who are currently working through the grieving process that is associated with the break up of a marriage. Applicants must be dependable, demonstrate knowledge of daily living skills, and be at least 21 years of age. Evidence of empathy and good communication skills are necessary. Successful applicants will possess tolerance of different lifestyles and ethnicities, an accepting and nonjudgmental attitude toward others, and a willingness to accept supervision.
