Job Description
Our firm, Premier Health Careers, Inc is working on behalf of a small Dallas Acute Care Hospital to find a Registered Nurse with a minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing experience including a minimum one year of Employee Health plus one year infection control experience.

There are no co-workers or direct reports in this department.

If hired, you would report to the CHRO and the CNO. You would be responsible for the Employee Health services of the facility and the establishment /implementation of guidelines directed toward prevention, detection and control of infectious disease.

Employee Health services may include, but not be limited to:
1) Periodic immunizations, counseling, and annual blood work.
2) TB skin testing for all employees, on hire and annually.
3) Monitor, maintain and retain accurate records of employee health screenings, surveillance and immunization programs.
4) As First Responder of the Workers Compensation Program, evaluates or assesses all work-related injuries/illnesses and coordinates the care of injured employees.

Infection Control duties include:

Coordinator of all infection prevention and control within the hospital and facilitates ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of infection control activities.
