CIVIL ENGINEER-Site Development – Dallas

Immediate opening for a civil engineer to join an established Site Development design team responsible for the production and management of a variety of civil site work projects, including schools, churches, hospitals, retail and commercial. This Project Engineer position provides an excellent opportunity for gaining valuable experience in the design of paving,
drainage, grading and utility improvements, as well as the development of project management skills.

Position Requirements:
At a minimum, candidates must meet the following educational, professional and personal requirements:

Education/Registration
B.S. in Civil Engineering

Professional
Responsive and results oriented in service to clients
One (1) to four (4) years of experience in civil engineering site work design preferred (i.e. site drainage, paving, grading, utilities, and storm water quality).
Proficient in AutoCAD 2005 or 2007 LDT software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel; Civil 3D a plus

Responsibilities/Expectations:
The design and production of civil site work improvement projects.
The design of municipal public works improvement projects (i.e., street, drainage, water and sanitary sewer projects).
Organizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
Coordination with other disciplines.
Assisting in construction administration.
