Description
As a Civil Design Tech in our growing firm, your role is to work under the direction of Project Engineers and Managers to take general concepts and ideas and develop them into detailed CADD drawings. You should not only be capable of drafting but also have the ability to design. Projects will include drainage and utility improvements, as well as some civil sitework. Other responsibilities may include assisting with development/management of production standards, conducting minor engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs, and managing or reviewing the work of less experienced technicians and EITs. Typically requires an Associates degree and 2-8 years of experience. Experience with Microstation and AutoCad required.
